Hach, My Marini hat mir neue Fotos geschickt. Ich hab schon mal über die geschrieben, und ich find die einfach wunderschön. Gut, Polyester und so ist schwierig, aber im Baumwollhäkelbikini wird man zumindest mich auch nie sehen. Folgendes schreibt Mareen über ihre Stoffe:
The fabric we use is manufactured in Italy in an eco-friendly way. Our supplier promoted sustainability and environmental awareness long before it became fashionable. An innovative chemical-physical waste water treatment plant ensures a minimum impact on the environment. Methane gas is used for the production, the cleanest fossil fuel currently available. The water used for the production is treated to remove most pollutants before sending it to the municipal purification system. Furthermore the thermal energy emitted by the machines and equipment is reused to reduce CO2 and emissions to values 10 times lower than those foreseen by the law. All production steps are in compliance with the current European regulations and national and international laws.
Gut, würde ein großer Retailer sowas schreiben, würd ich denen das sofort zurückwerfen und sagen „Recyclete Fischernetze sind die Zukunft! Es schwimmt eh so viel Plastikmüll herum im Meer!“. Aber Mymarini ist ein kleines Unternehmen, die an allen Ecken und Kanten versuchen, es besser zu machen. Da bin ich ein Fan der kleinen Schritte (die Schlussrechnung ist eigentlich recht einfach, je größer das Unternehmen, desto größer sollten die Schritte sein).
Produziert werden die Teile in Stuttgart:
The MYMARINIs are produced in Stuttgart in south Germany. All patterns and designs are developed in Hamburg, in the heart of Eimsbüttel, where we live and work. With full awareness we chose south Germany for our production. The south of Germany has a long tradition in textile industry, where we find the quality and knowledge required for our products. The clear advantages are also the fast and easy communication, the short ways and the flexibility with which we can react to the market. From the beginning on it was always natural for us, that everybody is payed fair.
Und was das Design angeht, da haben sie mich. Aber sowas von. Das sind alles Wende-Teile, die kann man doppelt bis vierfach neu tragen! Herrlich.
